Vista has responded to an increasing demand for high quality labels in small to medium batch quantities with the installation of an Etipol Combi 270 letterpress printing machine.

This £ 300,000 investment features 5 colours plus UV varnishing, over lamination and foil blocking.

What is significant about this machine is the low cost of origination and the speed with which plates, cutters and inks can be changed, thus reducing down time and making shorter runs much more viable. This is a highly versatile machine, able to print to the most demanding standards on both paper and synthetic films and heralds a new era in letterpress technology.

Part of the company's £ 800,000 investment programme is the acquisition of a unique plate mounting system developed to compliment the Etipol Combi 270.                  

This new system punches holes into the metal backed printing plates.  These holes locate perfectly to pins in the Etipol's magnetic print cylinders and so plates are in perfect register first time, every time. 

This is only the second such systems to be installed worldwide, placing Vista Labels firmly at the forefront of labels printing development.

Vista Labels has extended the features of its Mark Andy 4150. 

Many of you will remember the installation of Vista's 6 colour Mark Andy 4150, one of the most advanced felxographic label printing machines available. 

As part of its major investment programme, Vista has added turn-bars for printing the backing paper and a de-laminating/re-laminating system to facilitate printing onto the adhesive.  To compliment these additional features the 4150 has been expanded to 8 colours.

Other new features are an over-laminating unit for labels requiring additional protection and a rotary foil blocking system, the latest and fastest method of blocking available today.

In addition to this our 6 colour 2200 Mark Andy press has increased to 8 colours, both presses being full U.V. flexographic.

Vista's Hot Foil Blocking facility is second to none in its ability to produce fine print in a wide range of foils from plain colours to holographic films.

Supplying blank labels for thermal printing has grown into an important part of Vista Labels' business.  Demand is so high that they have invested in an additional Omega 330.

This machine boasts 2 cutting heads and an in line fanfolder and will produce labels for thermal, laser and computer printers.

To compliment this service Vista also supplies thermal printing ribbons for most makes of thermal printing machines.

State of the art hardware and software systems allows us to accept artwork on a wide range of media in PC or Macintosh format.  Our plate making facility is equal to that of many of the countries top repro houses, having installed the UKs first CDI Spark computer to plate system.  Combining this with scanning, proofing and storage facilities, Vista provides the complete digital solution to your label needs.
